Kabab Halla

Ingredients:

  • 3/4 kg meat [Bite-size cubes]
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 3 onions [medium, chopped]
  • 1 tsp garlic [paste/ finely chopped]
  • 1 tbsp ginger [fresh, shreded] or 1 tsp ginger powder
  • 1 tsp chilli powder
  • 2 mestika [optional] ... (I think it's called arabian-gum )
  • 2 tsp tumeric [or 1 tsp curry]
  • 1 meat stock cube
  • 1 tsp cardemom [powder]
  • 1 tsp cinnamon powder [optional]
  • 1 tsp All spice or Meat spice [optional]
  • Salt & pepper
Directions:
  • Heat oil in a medium size pan, add onion, garlic and ginger. Stir till onions are yellow.
  • Add the rest of spices.
  • Add the meat cubes to the pan and stir occasionally till meat is brown in color.
  • Add the stock cube and a cup of warm water and let it boil.
  • Cover and let it cook for 50minutes to 1 hour on low heat.
  • After 40 minutes, add salt and pepper.
  • Serve!
