Ingredients:
- 3/4 kg meat [Bite-size cubes]
- 2 tbsp oil
- 3 onions [medium, chopped]
- 1 tsp garlic [paste/ finely chopped]
- 1 tbsp ginger [fresh, shreded] or 1 tsp ginger powder
- 1 tsp chilli powder
- 2 mestika [optional] ... (I think it's called arabian-gum )
- 2 tsp tumeric [or 1 tsp curry]
- 1 meat stock cube
- 1 tsp cardemom [powder]
- 1 tsp cinnamon powder [optional]
- 1 tsp All spice or Meat spice [optional]
- Salt & pepper
- Heat oil in a medium size pan, add onion, garlic and ginger. Stir till onions are yellow.
- Add the rest of spices.
- Add the meat cubes to the pan and stir occasionally till meat is brown in color.
- Add the stock cube and a cup of warm water and let it boil.
- Cover and let it cook for 50minutes to 1 hour on low heat.
- After 40 minutes, add salt and pepper.
- Serve!
